Notice the difference in the three? Like to know how they are done? Then continue to read.

-----------------------

· To make your text like the first is very simple. Open a new image in PSP, any size, with a background colour of your choice. · Then click the text () button, then click anywhere on your blank image. A screen will then pop-up. This is the text screen. Type the text you want to show in the box that says 'Enter text here' and then click OK. But make sure your settings are like this first. If you are using a big font then 'Antailias' can be checked. Either way there must be no stroke! · Press Ctrl+D and you should now have text like the first.

-----------------------

· To make your text like the second is just as simple. Open a new image in PSP, any size, with a background colour of your choice. · Then click the text () button, then click anywhere on your blank image. A screen will then pop-up. This is the text screen. Type the text you want to show in the box that says 'Enter text here' and then click OK. Make sure your settings are like this first. If you are using a big font then 'Antailias' can be checked. This style only works well with big fonts though, fonts like silkscreen and redensek are too small so you can't see the fill colour. · Press Ctrl+D and you should now have text like the second.

-----------------------

· The third style works best with small fonts so if you want to outline your text on a button this is the style for you. It is a little more complicated than the rest but it isn't that hard. If you are using a big font then 'Antailias' can be checked (it does work with big fonts but style 2 is better for them). Make sure that floating is selected or this wont work. · Don't de-select just yet. Go Ctrl+X then open a new canvas with the colour you want the text to be outlined by. In my case it is black. Go Ctrl+E then go Selections >> Modify >> Expand. I find 1 pixel works best with small fonts but you can experiment. Then go Ctrl+X. · Open a new canvas (the one you want the text to be on, it has to be a different colour than the text outline) and press Ctrl+E or Ctrl+L either work. if you chose Ctrl+E then go Ctrl+D and you should have text outlined like the third. This can also work for outlining images too.
